Project kalakruti sanskruti - visit workshop at pinguli
o get information of culture by staying in part from where they raised. We organising a first new upcoming project in which you will get training in “Konkan”. The oldest culture in India which extinct nowadays but it is protected in “Pingurli’’ village in Sindhudurga district (Tahshil – Kudal). To learn story telling by using different Paintings or Puppet (Chitrakathi), making Leather Doll (it is basically known as ‘Leather Colour Shadow Puppet’) is main agenda of this workshop.
The workshop will undertake by Mr. Parshuram Gangavane and his family who are expert in making and handling of Indian Traditional Puppet made of leather. This family had also performed Indian Puppets on International level. They are now interested to spread Indian Culture and Traditional Art form among all youngsters, art lovers and every Indian Citizen.
This workshop is organised by Samyak Kalansh Pratishthan, Mumbai and Thakar Aadivasi Kala Aangan, Sindhudurga. This 3 days workshop starts from 27th October to 29th October. Stay, food and pickup facility & materials for workshop is included in fees.
This workshop is not limited for Mumbai and Sindhudurga city. It doesn’t matter which language you spoke or which religion you belong. Our motto is to spread new art through this workshop so it’s for all who are interested to learn new art form and Indian Culture.
